Gabrielle Ponthier

Gabby began dancing at the age of two, training in styles such as classical ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary. At 11, she trained for a summer with the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City on a full scholarship and later gained recognition at Youth America Grand Prix. She went on to assist conventions like The Streetz and Celebrity Dance for many years, traveling across North America and working with industry professionals like Jim Nowakowski, Alexa Moffett, and Cat Cogliandro. Before moving to Austin, Gabby taught extensively in Dallas, sharing her knowledge and love for dance. Now completing her Biomedical Engineering degree at UT Austin, Gabby is president of Texas Ballet and is excited to continue teaching contemporary at Evenground!
